Majestic Theatre

The Majestic Theatre (Seating Chart) opened in the Vaudeville era and originally featured stars like Houdini, Mae West, and Bob Hope.  Over the years it has hosted movie premieres, and provided a venue for live music featuring Big Band era greats Cab Calloway and Duke Ellington.  Today the 1704-seat theatre is the site of musical productions, dramatic plays, national pageants, dance and concerts.  The Summer Musical School of Musical Theatre uses the lower level Experimental Theatre for classes and performances.

Located in downtown Dallas, DART Light Rail is steps away from the rear stage entrance.  The theatre does not have its own parking, however, parking is available on either side of Elm just East of the theatre, or directly across the street from the theatre.
