Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is located in the Fort Worth Cultural District.   Designed by acclaimed Japanese architect Tadao Ando, "the temple of modern art,” features 53,000 square feet of gallery space containing masterworks of modern and contemporary American and European art dating from 1945 to the present, including painting, sculpture, works on paper, and photography.

Museum Gallery Hours

Closed Monday
Tuesday 10 am – 5 pm (10-7 pm Sep–Nov, Feb–Apr)
Wednesday 10 am–5 pm
Thursday 10 am–5 pm
Friday 10 am–5 pm (First Friday of every month open until 8 pm)
Saturday 10 am–5 pm
Sun 11 am–5 pm
The Modern is closed Mondays and on holidays, including New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.
